QA Engineer

Job Context

Ensure that testing activities will guide development to meet the business requirements and systems goals.
Prepare test plan and test cases for application features.
Develop and document test configurations and test environments.
Functional and Regression Testing.
User Acceptance, Usability and Accessibility Testing.
Performance/Load Testing.
Application Security and Penetration Testing.
Measure application performance and suggest improvements.
Explore application requirements and post relevant queries/suggestions.
Prepare test reports, release note and system support documentation.
Collaborate with team members and ensure knowledge transfer.

At least 2 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Communication, Software Engineering, Software Systems, Solution design
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company

Knowledge of QA best practices and how to create processes to drive quality in a product
Experience with automated test tools and frameworks is plus
Solid understanding of the software development life-cycle and Agile methodologies
Familiarity with Linux, SQL Scripts and version control systems such as git,svn are also a plus
Must have basic system engineering knowledge
Experience with Application life-cycle management(ALM) tools like TFS, Jira etc is plus
Must be able to learn new technologies, tools, and techniques quickly and with minimal supervision
